Buyer FAQ
What is your minimum order?
One 40′ high-cube container, and you may mix products within it. Per product: 50 sets for an existing item, 30 for a modification, 100 for a new development or tooling quoted separately.
Are we too small for you?
If you are buying under one container a year, probably. We would rather say so now than disappoint you on a second order. Four to twenty containers a year is where we work best.
Can I order a sample first?
Yes, and you should. Samples are built on production tooling so what you approve is what you receive. Charged, then credited against your first production order. 15–25 days.
How long from order to shipment?
45 days in the lean season, 60 in peak, plus 5–7 days for inspection and loading. A first development adds sampling and approval — budget 90–120 days from first enquiry.
When is your peak season?
September to February production, which means booking by July. Current uncommitted capacity is published on the Capabilities page and updated monthly.
What are your payment terms?
30% deposit with the purchase order, 70% against a copy bill of lading. L/C at sight accepted. We do not ask for 100% up front.
Do you publish packing and container data?
Yes — packed volume and units per 40′ high-cube on every product, and a full XLSX in Downloads.
Can you produce under my own brand?
Completely. Product naming, retail carton design, barcode labelling, assembly manuals in your languages, warranty documentation under your brand.
Will you sell my design to someone else?
Not where we have agreed exclusivity, which we offer by design and by market. Ask for it in writing at quotation stage.
Do you subcontract any production?
No process is subcontracted off site. Extrusion, fabric, foam and hardware are supplied against certificates held on file; everything that shapes, joins, coats, weaves, sews or packs is done here.
Will you accept a factory audit?
Yes, and we prefer to schedule one. SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, TÜV or your own team. Tell us the AQL standard you inspect to and we will inspect to it internally first.
What certifications do you hold?
Listed on the Certifications page with issuing body, number, scope and expiry. If a scheme is not there with a number, treat us as not holding it.
Does EUDR affect what I buy from you?
Only if it contains timber. Aluminium, rope, polywood, textilene, PE rattan and stainless carry no obligation. For FSC timber lines we supply the geolocation and legality data your due diligence statement requires.
Can you supply US aluminium origin documentation?
Yes. Aluminium content by value and smelt-and-cast country of origin per product, from the extrusion supplier’s mill certificates.
Is your warranty valid for commercial use?
Yes, and it is stated as such by component rather than buried. Exclusions are listed openly — UV fade, salt air, pool chemicals, stacking damage and normal wear.
Do you hold spare parts?
For contract programmes, seven years of slings, cushion covers, glides and hardware in the same finish. For trade programmes, by agreement against a forecast.
Do you hold stock?
No. We are not a stock-and-ship supplier. Repeat programmes with a forecast can be scheduled against a rolling commitment.
Do you make indoor furniture?
Yes. Indoor and outdoor are built on the same engineered frame — what changes is the specification over it: finish, upholstery, fabric grade and hardware. Outdoor construction is specified for weather, salt and ultraviolet; indoor is specified for comfort, acoustics and finish quality.
